Big words, aren’t they?
These are our invisible illnesses. A lot of people seem to think that they can look at a person and tell whether they are sick or disabled. They don’t realize that the lack of a wheelchair, oxygen, runny nose, or grimace of pain is irrelevant.
How do we battle the stereotype that invisible illness isn’t real?
